Special Event Insurance Required with alcohol
If Alcohol is served Renter provides a Special Event Endorsement obtained on your home owners or from a special event insurance provider (this is for your private event) Fiesta Event Insurance 971-304-0152 provides such insurance* Please note if you are having an event open to the public where you sell Alcohol; you will additionally need a permit from OLCC and the City of Scio 503-394-3342.

This is a cleaning and rental deposit. It is returned if rules are followed and hall is left clean

Trash Can Liners; you remove your garbage
6 rolls toilet paper

Cleaning supplies
There are about 20 tables to use they are 96x30 inch
There are about 170 metal folding chairs
You are welcome to rent and bring in your own tables and chairs
There is a microwave two gas stoves
The kitchen and wiring are old; we are raising money to upgrade, please be aware the power supply to kitchen is not very robust at this time; we are happy to further explain at your request

Rental Rules
Sound Ordinance
Scio has a Sound Ordinance. Amplified sound is to be off at 10pm on week nights and 11 pm on Friday and Saturday night. If your amplified music is too loud the Sherriff may ask you to turn it down. If you are asked a second time you may be fined and your deposit withheld
DECORATING
do NOT put nails or tacks in the walls; There are some nails in place along the walls you may use
There are only outlets on kitchen and stage end of the hall; We are raising money for a wiring upgrade
There is a basket on the ceiling for streamers
You MAY NOT remove the pictures on the walls
No Open Flames!
Absolutely no open flames allowed
no heavy items on the floor
Please respect our old and beautiful wooden dance floor: avoid items that would scratch or be too heavy
Hall capacity
Hall is rated for 299 People You can comfortably seat 200-250
Restrooms
There are two; we are fundraising for a more and a handicap one. You may rent a portable handicap restroom if you need one at this time
There is a small Dressing Room
This is right off the women's restroom. It is quite old fashioned and beautiful
Overnight Stays in the area
There is a motel in Stayton ~10 miles away(Best Western) There is possibility of local places to stay; please inquire with us
